Previous experience:
- Group Planning and Environment Director –BAA plc led the development of the BAA master planning process, which was implemented successfully at both Gatwick (where approval was gained to increase capacity from 30 mppa to 42 mppa) and Stansted (where approval was gained to increase capacity from 15 mppa to 25 mppa). At both airports, planning approval was negotiated with Local Planning Authorities resulting in public inquiries being avoided.
- Terminal Five Planning Director –responsible for preparation of Planning Case and managed a large team of professionals and consultants during the Public Inquiry.
Role at AviaSolutions:
- Provides strategic planning advice. Undertook a key role on the DfT White Paper project. Provided advice to a range of UK airports on development of master plans and on planning strategy.
