29/09/2008 - Bahrain International Airport Strategic Review

AviaSolutions has recently completed a detailed masterplan and strategic review of Bahrain International Airport on behalf of Bahrain Airport Company. This involved reviewing and updating traffic forecasts and producing a development plan for the phased expansion of the airport. A consultation exercise was undertaken amongst key stakeholders to inform the development of the masterplan. Finally AviaSolutions undertook a financial appraisal of the scheme to test the viability of the masterplan. This included assessment of capital costs, revenue projections and potential to diversify income streams.
