30/01/2007 - BA announces London - Newquay

British Airways (BA) has announced a new service from London Gatwick to Newquay. Starting in time for Easter daily services will operate from the 20th March 2007. AviaSolutions has been retained by Cornwall County Council (the owners of Newquay Airport) to assist in route development. We provided passenger forecasts, yield data and market segmentation information to BA to allow their commercial department to develop a business case for the route.

The schedule of summer 2007 operations is as follows:

Daily
LGW - NQY 1250 - 1350
NQY - LGW 1520 - 1620
